Take that, San Francisco!


Forbes Magazine in May ranked Pittsburgh as the most liveable city in the United States. The factors the magazine considered included access to arts and recreation, cost of living, health care and proximity of major universities (University of Pittsburgh, Carnegie Mellon, Duquesne and many others). Pittsburgh was ranked number 10 last year, so the jump in 2010 was substantial.

By the by, here is another interesting story from Forbes about why Pittsburgh deserved to host last September's G-20 conference.
