The National Aviary, located just a short walk from The Priory, is the nation's premier bird zoo. The Aviary has been on an aggressive expansion campaign for the past several years, having opened the Penguin Point exhibit last year (with up close interaction with South African penguins!) and the Grasslands exhibit this year. The Aviary will be shortly opening up a new avian theater, where visitors can view fantastic feats from the trained birds. The Aviary is an ever-changing canvas, and is well worth a visit when you're in town.
