Here's some photos from the German Heritage Day Parade which occured here in our Deutschtown Neighborhood recently. This was the first such parade in nearly 100 years, and it was a great success. Note Mayor Ravenstahl, a man with some Germanic heritage, was in attendance. The event was planned and executed by the Teutonia Mannerchor, a German singing society and club located about a half of a mile from The Priory. It celebrated its 150th birthday in 2004.
