Time Magazine: Pittsburgh in Nine Photos
Time Magazine put out a recent photo essay on Pittsburgh in nine photos, showing the new Pittsburgh which has emerged from the collapse of the steel industry thirty years ago.
The photo above shows a faded advertisement for the Uneeda Biscuit in Lawrenceville, which was the first cracker packaged for sale. Nabisco (which had a large plant here, now known as Bakery Square) through its now parent company Kraft, discontinued the brand in 2010.
